Combined unit belt filter press
Why ?
- To increase the dry solids loading by 30%
- To increase the dry solids level from 2 to 5 %
- A combined unit (belt filter press / gravity belt thickener)
may be compared to an HP centrifuge but having a lower polymer
consumption ( from 4 to 5 kg/ton DS) whilst at the same time
avoiding phosphate release.
- This arrangment will also consume less power.
