Screw conveyors
Application and operation of the screw conveyor :
The conveyor is used for the following situations
:
- Carriage of screening waste,
- Carriage of dewatered sludge from belt/plate filter press
or centrifuge,
- Conveyance of any related solid matter,
The EMO screw conveyor is composed of a shaftless and endless
screw, located in a " U " shaped trough, constructed
in stainless steel grade 304L and having a high resistance
coating.
The absence of a shaft and intermediary supports, prevents
clogging when handling moist, sticky or fibrous materials.
The total enclosure by use of a sealed cover system reduces
the risks of accidents, promotes cleanliness and reduces odours
emissions.
EMO screw conveyors are tailor-made in order to suit specific
project requirements and constraints.
Several optional extras are available, including :
Torque Limiter, No Bulking Sensor…,
whilst " Rotational " and " Adjustable Height
" models are also available.
