Sludge treatment engineering

Initial sludge concentration is between 5 and 20 gr/litre. The volume is reduced four times by dewatering with a Gravity Belt Thickener.

The volume is reduced 10 times by dewatering with:
- belt filter press: medium pressure high pressure high pressure high capacity
- Combined unit gravity belt thickener / belt filter press
- Centrifuge

The volume is reduced 15 times by dewatering by : - plate filter press
- belt filter press for sludge with physico chemical or primary or mixted structure
- composting unit or mixing unit for sludge and sawdust or sludge and lime.

The volume is reduced 50 times using thermic dewatering : drying process or incineration.
